The Magpies will look to continue their winning run in the Premier League when they face the Blades. So, here is Newcastle predicted lineup vs Sheffield.

After that 1-0 win over Brentford, Newcastle were able to end the losing streak of three consecutive matches. Lots of questions were asked from Eddie Howe’s men and they answered those questions in that very game. Next, they faced AC Milan as the Magpies made a comeback to Europe’s premier competition after about 20 years of absence. No one expected the Magpies to get something against the Rossoneri. However, they ended up with a point as the game finished 0-0. The next in line for the Magpies will be the Blades against whom the Tyneside have a brilliant recent record. So, how will Eddie Howe line up his team in this crunch Premier League game? Here is the Newcastle predicted lineup vs Sheffield.

Newcastle United predicted lineup against Sheffield United

Eddie Howe will surely rely on Nick Pope to be in between the sticks for Newcastle United against Sheffield United. He was brilliant in that game against Milan. At right-back, it is Kieran Trippier who would start after a stellar performance in the midweek. The defensive pair of Fabian Schar and Sven Botman will be looking to bring defensive stability to the Magpies along with Dan Burn who will start as the left-back.

When it comes to Eddie Howe’s midfield, this is the most debatable position. However, after the midweek, Sean Longstaff is expected to keep his position along with Bruno Guimaraes who has become a talisman for the Magpies. Also, Sandro Tonali will be making his Premier League comeback after the injury. So, Newcastle’s midfield does look strong again.

For the frontline, Newcastle fans will be hoping that Harvey Barnes and Anthony Gordon are the two wingers because Jacob Murphy was poor against Milan.  Also, Almiron should not start this game. Instead of Callum Wilson, if Alexander Isak starts, then it will help Newcastle in pressing the Blades a lot further up the pitch. Wilson can come in as a sub in the second half.
