There is no doubt that the start of the season for Newcastle United has not been great losing three matches on the trot. This has left many people wondering whether the Newcastle board will sack Eddie Howe or not. However, in recent reports, Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan backed Eddie Howe to deliver again. Newcastle fans are also behind the manager who brought them back to the Champions League after 20 years of absence. This will be the third time the Magpies would play in the elite European competition. However, Goldbridge in his podcast has different opinions about the status of Eddie Howe as Newcastle’s manager.

When asked about Eddie Howe at Newcastle United on his podcast Goldbridge Saves Football, Mark Goldbridge replied,
"“Oh, he will definitely get sacked. But he won’t be the first sacking.”"
Other guests at the podcast were shocked by his remarks but he went on to say,
"“Well, inevitably at some point. But yeah! I don’t think he’ll be the manager of Newcastle this time next year.”"
Well, this is a bold statement from Mark Goldbridge on Eddie Howe. But, Goldbridge is known to have such controversial opinions on football.
