Mark Goldbridge in his Goldbridge Saves Football podcast predicted the future of Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe. He thinks Howe will get sacked.

YouTube personality Mark Goldbridge in the Goldbridge Save Football podcast commented on the future of Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe. There is no doubt that the start of the season for Newcastle United has not been great losing three matches on the trot. This has left many people wondering whether the Newcastle board will sack Eddie Howe or not. However, in recent reports, Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan backed Eddie Howe to deliver again. Newcastle fans are also behind the manager who brought them back to the Champions League after 20 years of absence. This will be the third time the Magpies would play in the elite European competition. However, Goldbridge in his podcast has different opinions about the status of Eddie Howe as Newcastle’s manager.

What does Mark Goldbridge say about Eddie Howe as Newcastle United manager?

When asked about Eddie Howe at Newcastle United on his podcast Goldbridge Saves Football, Mark Goldbridge replied,

"“Oh, he will definitely get sacked. But he won’t be the first sacking.”"

Other guests at the podcast were shocked by his remarks but he went on to say,

"“Well, inevitably at some point. But yeah! I don’t think he’ll be the manager of Newcastle this time next year.”"

Well, this is a bold statement from Mark Goldbridge on Eddie Howe. But, Goldbridge is known to have such controversial opinions on football.

Should Eddie Howe get sacked as Newcastle manager?

First of all, Newcastle started the season fantastically beating Aston Villa 5-1 at St. James’ Park. After that, it was known to fans that the fixtures were tough against Manchester City and Liverpool. However, Eddie Howe’s men fought hard in those games but ended up on the losing side. However, the 3-1 loss to Brighton at AMEX Stadium hurt Newcastle fans badly. However, fans are still backing Eddie Howe to do the job as he did last year.

Do you agree with Mark Goldbridge that Eddie Howe will not be the manager of Newcastle United this time next year?
