Newcastle United set to miss Sandro Tonali due to injury against Brentford and AC Milan

Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali could miss the games against Bretford and AC Milan due to a muscle injury. He had tests at Clinica Columbus yesterday.

Sando Tonali has been the signing of the summer for Newcastle United as he made an instant impact on the pitch for the Magpies. In a very short time, Tonali has become irreplaceable at Newcastle. However, the fans of the Magpies are now concerned about the fitness of their favourite midfielder. Yes, Sandro Tonali could be out of action for a few weeks due to a muscle injury. He was taken off from the Italian national squad that was scheduled to play against Ukraine. As Tonali seems injured and had tests at Clinica Columbus for the muscle injury, Newcastle fans will be very concerned because they need the midfielder after suffering a horrible start to the season which promised to be better than what they achieved last season.

Sandro Tonali set to miss Newcastle United games vs Brentford and AC Milan

Newcastle United never thought that their start of the season could go this bad after they beat Aston Villa 5-1 on the opening matchday of the season. They lost to Manchester City, Liverpool, and Brighton after that. So, fans were hoping for a bounceback against Bretford. Also, they have one of the most important games of the season in the Champions League against AC Milan. Newcastle fans were hoping for a good start to their European campaign because they are placed in virtually the group of death alongside Dortmund, PSG, and AC Milan. So, missing Sandro Tonali in the opener will be a huge blow for the Magpies as Eddie Howe now will have to look for a replacement. It will be a challenge for the Newcastle manager to find a suitable man to replace Tonali with Longstaff being the favourite to do so.
