Newcastle’s Alexander Isak given PFA’s Fan Player of the Month award

Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak has been given recognition for his impressive play on the pitch, being given the PFA Fan Player of the Month award for the month of March.
Isak joined the club this past summer and since the attribution of him to the squad the team has shined and produced eye-opening performances each time he steps on the field.
In the month of March, he contributed a stellar three goals through three matches, helping the team on their five-game win streak that continued through the month of April. Unfortunately, that win streak was ended this past weekend when the Magpies took on Aston Villa, falling 3-0 in regulation.
When the Magpies faced off against Wolves, the contest was predicted to be a competitive one. That would be the case as the team secured a 2-1 victory, with Isak securing the opening goal, before winger Miguel Almiron found the go-ahead winning goal.
That would be the start of his reign of terror in the Premier League.
Just one game later against Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United was able to find another huge performance behind Isak.
The 23-year-old shined against the Reds, knocking in two goals to help the Magpies prevail by a 2-1 deficit.
Building off his March goals, he added two more to start the Month of April. Against West Ham and Brentford, he scored two goals to help the team build their five-game win streak.
Outside of Isak, teammate Miguel Almiron is the only other Magpie to bring the award back for Newcastle.
