Player to Watch:

This one is simple, Anthony Gordon should be getting his first start as a member of Newcastle United, so he has to be the player to watch.

He shined against West Ham United in his first contest, and then against Bournemouth, he continued to be up in the face of the opposing team’s defense.

With his immense speed and peddle-to-the-metal mentality, he will be full-go out of the gates against Liverpool, especially if he is in the starting 11.

He is also one of those players who builds off of tension and pressure, ultimately building up his confidence on the field. Against Liverpool, this is the perfect time for his energy to be utilized.

It would be picture-perfect to see Gordon get his first goal in the white and black against the only team who has given Newcastle United a loss in league play.
