A lot of questions have been raised about Allan Saint-Maximin’s form in recent times, as the Newcastle United star has struggled to show his best. And as reported by the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are willing to let Saint-Maximin leave in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Magpies will look for a transfer fee around £50 million for the French winger though. He has been a key player for the club since arriving in 2019.

It does feel like there will be mixed reaction to this news. On one hand, Saint-Maximin is a fan favourite and on his day, he has the ability to cause trouble to the best teams in the Premier League. We have already seen that.

But on the other hand, he has struggled with consistency. And when he is not performing at his best, he is a player who can frustrate as at times, it looks like he is trying a bit too hard to make something happen, instead of playing simple football and helping the team.
