Newcastle United appear to be heading into one of the most exciting summer transfer windows in their history. Of course, they are not still completely safe from relegation yet but their incredible form in 2022 has left them in a strong position, and a couple more wins could very well see them guarantee their place in the next Premier League campaign. And one would expect them to make a significant splash as well.

The Magpies made some big signings in January as well, and that was when there were questions about whether they would even be able to stay up in the Premier League.

In the summer, the target might very well be on finishing in an European qualification spot. And thus, they will need to sign some players with experience of competing at the top level.

On the other hand, Chelsea are facing an uncertain future at the moment with the club up for sale and a change of ownership set to take place. Could Newcastle United take advantage of the situation and bring in someone from Stamford Bridge? Paddy Kenny seems to think so.

"“Obviously, Chelsea have some of the best players in the world. It would be massive for Newcastle to get one of them in.“Newcastle would take pretty much all of them, I’m sure. We have to see what happens with this.“It’s still developing and we have no idea what’s going to happen.“But if players end up leaving Chelsea, Newcastle will be putting calls in, I’m certain of that.”"

There are many players at Chelsea, who could come in and immediately improve this Newcastle United team. They are Champions League winners at the end of the day, something that The Magpies will be hoping to win in the future.

Thus, they must keep their eyes on how the situation develops at Stamford Bridge. Although, with what is expected to be the biggest sale of a sports team in history, Chelsea should be fine.
