Newcastle United face competition from Manchester United and Arsenal for Moussa Diaby signature

Newcastle United are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, but face competition from Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Newcastle United bosses are busy planning for what promises to be a very exciting summer transfer window for the club. The Magpies have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks. And it will be interesting to see how they go about their transfer business in the summer.
The latest player to be linked with a move to Newcastle United is talented Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, who is enjoying a very impressive season in the German Bundesliga. The former Paris St. Germain player has been making a lot of waves this season, and has 16 goals and nine assists to his name in 34 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen.
Newcastle United would need to pay a mammoth transfer fee to sign Moussa Diaby
According to German outlet Sport1, Newcastle United are among several English Premier League clubs in the race for Moussa Diaby’s signature. They add that Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in signing the French international.
Newcastle United certainly have a need to bolster their attack. There is a lack of quality wingers in the team. And Diaby is certainly a player who is capable of making a big impact, as he has done time and time again in the Bundesliga this season.
The 22 year old will not come cheap though, with Sport1 claiming that Bayer Leverkusen want a transfer fee of 60 million euros.
Diaby still has more than three years left on his Bayer Leverkusen contract, which does not contain a release clause.
