After an 11-match winless run, Newcastle United have bounced back with two wins in their last three Premier League matches. They look like an improved, confident side at the moment and seem to be putting that losing streak in their rearview mirror.

But, despite the positive recent form, relegation isn’t off the table yet for the Magpies, according to the latest betting odds. The Mag reported that Newcastle United, by the numbers, are the most likely club to get relegated outside of the current bottom three.

Burnley, who resides between Newcastle and the bottom three, have better odds to avoid going down, despite three matches without a win. Brighton are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches and that bodes well for their odds to stay up this season. While they’re level with the Magpies on points at 25, they have a considerable edge to avoid relegation according to the oddsmakers.

Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion are nearly locks to head down to the Championship and while Fulham’s odds have them comfortably the most likely to join them, that third spot has more possibilities. Fulham also have a match in hand on the Magpies, who they trail by ten points on the table.

While these are just projections, it does serve as a reminder for fans that the job is not done yet to ensure the club’s safety. With back-to-back matches vs. Chelsea and Manchester United on the horizon, Newcastle United could see another slide, putting pressure on the club as things could tighten up at the bottom of the table.
