This is when Newcastle’s 2020-21 fixtures will be announced

The 2020-21 Premier League campaign will kick off on September 12th, but when will the fixture list for each team be revealed?

Newcastle United are focused on their preparations for the 2020-21 Premier League campaign. With the players currently on holiday, the backroom staff and the scouting department, led by Steve Nickson, have identified most transfer targets, but are now working to finalize a few deals.

Most fans and pundits would agree that Newcastle United need to add one or two more strikers, a dynamic winger to take the pressure off Allan Saint-Maximin, a central midfielder, and a wing-back. With the new season only one month away, the Magpies need to act quickly.

Upon the conclusion of the 2019-20 campaign it was said that Newcastle United plan on participating in at least three friendlies ahead of the new season, however, there have not been any updates regarding this plan as of yet.

One update regarding fixtures has been circulating in the media, though. The Premier League, along with the EFL, are expected to announce the 2020-21 fixture list for every club on August 21st. Fans should circle this date on their calendars to see when Newcastle United have a stretch of games in which they could rack up points, and when the club will be tested by superior opposition.

Talent and tactics are two key factors that determine how well a team will perform in the Premier League, but strength of schedule is just as significant. It will be interesting to see how things play out for Newcastle United in their schedule for next season.
