Newcastle offered the chance to loan in Mexican international

Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Napoli winger Hirving Lozano as a loanee.
With the Premier League remaining silent on the takeover front, the Magpies’ recruitment team have no real sense of guidance or direction. At the moment, scouts seem to be working under the assumption that they will be working under Mike Ashley and his budget.
A few days ago it was reported that Newcastle United have turned their attention to Wolfsburg’s talented striker Wout Weghorst. Another player has been linked with a potential move to Tyneside this week as well.
According to a new report from the Chronicle (via Arena Napoli), Napoli have offered Newcastle United, West Ham, and Everton the opportunity to sign winger Hirving Lozano as a loanee.
Napoli are offering the Mexican international in a deal that would provide the three Premier League clubs the opportunity to sign him permanently next summer.
Another interesting component of the offer is that the Italian giants are willing to waive any loan fees so long as the club interested in his services agrees to pay his full weekly wage – €105,000.
Newcastle United are desperately seeking to upgrade their front line this summer, but more talent is also needed out wide. Miguel Almiron is seeking a permanent move to the number ten role up the middle, and the team lacks quality depth to replace him out wide.
Christian Atsu is not cut out to be a starter in the Premier League. Matt Ritchie is energetic, aggressive and confident on the ball, but Newcastle United need a winger who is younger and more dynamic in the final third.
Valentino Lazaro would be a decent option, however, Newcastle United have not indicated whether or not they plan to pursue a permanent deal this summer.
Lozano is a talented winger who boasts plenty of pace, is technically gifted, and he is capable of scoring several goals each season. The Mexican international scored 22 goals in 72 appearances in his last two seasons in Liga MX (2015, 2016) and scored 34 goals in 59 league games for Dutch giants PSV (2017, 2018).
This season, Lozano experienced a dip in form in the Serie A with four goals in 25 appearances across all competitions, but his tenuous relationship with manager Gennaro Gattuso has not helped him. Newcastle United need a quality winger who can create big plays and Lozano certainly fits that bill.
At 24, Lozano is about to enter his prime and this would be a perfect time for the Magpies to sign him and add more quality on the wing.
The Premier League would be a new experience for Lozano, but a free loan deal with an option to buy if he impresses comes with little risk for Newcastle United.
