Newcastle is a good loan landing spot for Man Utd’s winger
With Manchester United expected to send Daniel James on loan if Jadon Sancho arrives, Newcastle United would be a sensible destination.
Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho could play a factor in Newcastle United’s lineup next season. While the rising star won’t be joining the Magpies, unless the takeover goes through and they make a surprise signing, his potential arrival at Manchester United could send a promising young player to Newcastle on loan.
According to the Mirror, the Red Devils would consider loaning Daniel James out next season if Sancho arrives. Newcastle United would be a great landing spot for the 22-year-old winger.
The Welsh international is in his first season at Man Utd after signing from Swansea City. In 37 appearances across all competitions, James has four goals and seven assists. He’s played mostly on the right side, but he has also featured on the left and sparingly in the center of the attack.
With the Magpies, he would be able to play on the right wing and push Miguel Almiron inside to the number ten role. His pace and aggressiveness on the ball would be a welcome sight opposite Allan Saint-Maximin. Whether the takeover goes through or not, the situation fits well for both NUFC and Daniel James.
If the takeover doesn’t go through, Newcastle United will be a middle of the table club that gives James the chance to play a key role in the majority of matches. If it does go through, the competition will be fierce in the attack with the influx of money and talent and that will would push James to earn his spot. If/when Jadon Sancho arrives in Manchester, Man Utd should look to send their promising winger to Tyneside.
