New update from incoming owners that should worry Newcastle United

Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia plan to buy other clubs after Newcastle United deal.
According to several reports across England, the Premier League is ready to approve the takeover of Newcastle United. The reports claim that league officials extended the approval timeline to avoid criticism from other entities over an insufficient review process of the proposed deal.
If these sources are correct, this is great news for Newcastle United and the Toon Army. The consortium comprised of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Amanda Staveley and the Reuben brothers are said to have ambitious plans in place for Newcastle United.
The Magpies are known as the sleeping giant of English football. The club is in dire need of a transformation to elevate its status in the Premier League and become the competitive side it once was during the Entertainers era in the mid-90s.
This takeover presents Newcastle United with that opportunity, but there is a problem. According to an exclusive report, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia is planning to expand its football portfolio, much like other wealthy nations in the Middle East.
Some fans might not see this as an issue, but it is a problem in my eyes. According to the report linked above, Prince Salman is not just looking to purchase clubs at random. Instead, he is looking for clubs that currently have the same “sleeping giant” label as Newcastle United.
If Prince Salman is looking to purchase other clubs in need of major transformations, how much attention and investment will be designated for Newcastle United? Some of the clubs Prince Salman and the PIF could invest in include: Hannover (Germany), Dynamo Dresden (Germany), Saint-Etienne (France) and possibly a club in the United States.
From what we have seen with the takeover of Newcastle United, the negotiation process for buying a club can take a long time, and the deal would then need to be reviewed by league officials. That being said, Newcastle United would enjoy some time as Prince Salman’s lone football project, but what happens after that?
How would Newcastle United and the other clubs the PIF are interested in purchasing navigate the transfer market? How would Prince Salman determine the level of investment needed at every club? These are just some things for fans to think about in the future when the PIF begin targeting new projects in Europe.
