Newcastle United is about to experience a major transformation with the arrival of new owners, and part of this transformation involves selling several players.

The takeover of Newcastle United is pretty much a done deal, but it will not be officially confirmed until the Premier League completes their vetting process. Sources close to the club and to the new owners are confident that they will receive the green light from the Premier League.

That being said, fans can expect to see a ton of activity over the next few weeks and in the summer months as Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Amanda Staveley and the Reuben brothers take charge. According to several reports across the United Kingdom, the Magpies’ new owners have ambitious objectives to reach new heights in the Premier League.

In order to achieve this goal, Staveley and her partners need to sit down and assess the current quality of the club. At present, Newcastle United are a respectable team that has sufficient talent to earn a high mid-table finish and knock on the door of the top ten.

There are two key problems for the Magpies, though. Firstly, the entire front line needs an extreme makeover. One goal between four strikers this season is embarrassing and unacceptable. Secondly, injuries have been an issue for Newcastle United this season, and the lack of quality depth on the bench has been noticeable as a result.

So, to have some fun analyzing the current squad, I have put myself in the shoes of Amanda Staveley, who is expected to serve as the club’s managing director, and made a list of players Newcastle United should let go or sell this summer. The list includes players from every position.
