Ahead of this weekend’s match between Newcastle United and Manchester United, we caught up with our FanSided counterpart to preview the action.

While all week you’ve seen our coverage and predictions from the Newcastle United perspective before they face Manchester United, we wanted to give you a look from the other lens. To do so, we spoke with Red Devil Armada, FanSided’s dedicated Manchester United blog, about tomorrow’s match. Special thanks to Sohail, one of their site experts.

Newcastle Toons: Let’s be honest, how bad will it be if Newcastle United get their first win of the season by upsetting Manchester United?

Red Devil Armada: It would be extremely disastrous. The club is already in shambles and a loss will only put more pressure on Mourinho and the board.

NT: Obviously, everyone sees the negatives and tension this season related to Manchester United. But, what are some of the good things happening there that are being overlooked?

RDA: There are very few positives to take from this season given the way we have started it. The only positives, in my opinion, are the rise Luke Shaw & Diogo Dalot for proving themselves to Mourinho and the fans that they’re gems and the fact that Mason Greenwood has signed a professional contract with the club.

NT: While Man U is not off to an ideal start, Newcastle United has not even won a match yet. Are there any Magpies’ players that the Red Devils will need to focus on stopping?

RDA: Frankly, the only player I think that might make any sort of impact in the game is Joselu. He’s Newcastle’s top scorer at the moment and I won’t be surprised if he bags in a couple of goals against Manchester United.

NT: Let’s hear an official match prediction and a prediction on when Jose might be sacked.

RDA: I think it will be a classic 0-0 draw. Unless this poor run of form continues, I think Jose will most probably stay until it’s mathematically impossible to finish in the top 4.
