Titus Bramble made over 100 appearances on the back line for Newcastle United.

Since leaving Newcastle United, Titus Bramble has had a mixed bag, on and off the pitch. He thrived with Wigan Athletic but has battled criminal cases and financial woes.

  • Infamously named the worst EPL player by the Fiver’s readers in the 2003-04 season while playing for Newcastle United
  • Involved in two court cases, one for rape and one for sexual assault and drug possession, after leaving Tyneside (Both times charges were dismissed)
  • Wigan Athletic’s Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year in 2008-09
  • Scored the lone Magpies’ goal in a win over Chelsea to earn a spot in the Intertoto Cup in 2006

Where is he now? (36 years old)

Titus Bramble is still involved in soccer, but light years away from the Premier League. He is a player/manager for Stowmarket Town, a ninth division club. He also serves as the U-11 manager for Ipswich Town. He made the news recently as he tries desperately to avoid bankruptcy. Thankfully, he was able to avoid filing for bankruptcy. His contract with Stowmarket ends this summer.
