Newcastle United travel to Merseyside in search of another win.

When a football team are able to play with less pressure, many times fans can expect to see a free-flowing and exciting style of play. Newcastle United and manager Rafa Benitez have secured Premier League safety this season, and could be set for a spectacular outing against Everton on Monday evening.

Kick-off is set for 8:00 PM local time at Goodison Park, and the Toon will be as confident as can be entering this fixture. Newcastle have won their last four league matches, the last one being an impressive 2-1 triumph over Arsenal this past weekend.

Everton and manager Sam Allardyce are currently only a point above United in ninth place, and are coming off a 1-1 draw at Swansea City in their last contest.

While relegation may no longer be a concern for these two sides, each will want to finish the campaign strongly.

In order to find a fifth win on the bounce, Benitez will again need solid play from his midfield.

Jonjo Shelvey and Mohamed Diame enjoyed stellar performances versus the Gunners, and will be required once again to be able to gain possession and control the tempo of the game.

A start for Slimani?

Islam Slimani had a strong impact in Newcastle’s most recent match, and provided an uplifting presence up front when he came on in the second half against Arsenal.

The Algerian international has only made two appearances for the Magpies since joining on-loan in January, and perhaps he is now ready to make his first start for the club.

If he is going to convince the Toon to make his deal permanent, Slimani will need to score goals in the final five fixtures.
