Dynamic midfielder

Unlike many other clubs, Newcastle do not have a player who can be successful in multiple roles. The current roster is comprised of players who know their roles and do their best to play at high levels in that area of the pitch.

In other words, the Magpies are desperate for a player who can cover a lot of ground on both ends of the field. Jonjo Shelvey comes close to fitting that description, but he cannot be expected to do everything.

The player Newcastle need to purchase this summer is Luka Milivojevic from Crystal Palace. Like the aforementioned players in this article, Milivojevic is a good player in a bad situation. Crystal Palace are fighting for survival and elite clubs from the top half of the table will surely monitor the Serbian international this summer at the World Cup.

With Milivojevic at Newcastle, the Magpies would improve in terms of maintaining possession, completing more passes and would be more dangerous in their attack outside the box. Milivojevic is not necessarily a game changer, but he has the talent to give your side an edge in a close match.

The Crystal Palace midfielder is supposedly worth ten million euros, an amount that Benitez could most likely force Ashley to pay to strengthen his midfield.
