Preston vs Newcastle United predicted team: Who deserves to start after cup brilliance?

Paul Dummett came off during the 6-0 victory over Preston North-End in the EFL Cup on Tuesday and now Rafa Benitez has confirmed Achraf Lazaar is in the squad for Saturday.

He, along with Massadio Haïdara, will both travel to Lancashire – which leads to the assumption that Dummett will not.

Benitez is unlikely to risk Haïdara, who is yet to play a competative minute for Newcastle United this season – so Lazaar looks likely to be the man.

On the other side, Vurnon Anita will probably come in for DeAndre Yedlin, who had started the last two Magpies games.
