Ginger Geordie Jack Colback hasn’t made the pitch in the last two games against Queens Park Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but now is his time.

Colback started the season in the team, but Jonjo Shelvey and Isaac Hayden seem to have overtaken him in the pecking order.

Shelvey has started and played the full 90 minutes in the last four league fixtures, while Hayden already has eight starts under his belt.

As mentioned previously, this will be a good chance for other squad members to put their hands up for a league place – and Colback needs to do that.
