Newcastle United haven’t started life in the Championship the way they would have wanted when relegation from the Premier League was confirmed.

After spending plenty of cash for the second summer in a row, Rafa Benitez has plenty of pressure on him to succeed with the squad.

But there are still plenty of gaps to fill – not least out wide where Vurnon Anita has been getting plenty of game time. That must change for Reading!
