If you read Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez’s pre-season comments about Vurnon Anita, it’s clear that he holds him in high regard.

But surely persisting with the former Ajax man on the right wing will prove to be a massive mistake. With Matt Ritchie in the squad, he should be starting every game in that role.

Rolando Aarons could then be given game time from the left, with Ayoze Perez as a backup. One thing is sure, the formation needs to be sorted out as soon as possible.
