How did Newcastle United’s new guys do?

Matt Ritchie

Along with Isaac Hayden, the best performer hands down. Matt Ritchie alone was the sole creative director of Newcastle United’s offense against Fulham. Sadly, the chances he created could not be converted into goals that surely would have helped Newcastle United escape victorious.

Matt Ritchie joined the club for a not-so-cheap price tag of £12m, and so far, he looks like he may earn that distinction.

Out of all the debuts that we witness last week, I have to say Matt Ritchie’s performance gave me the most hope. The way he passed, and his composure. He was the attacking star of the game.
