Sack the board! Newcastle fans react to relegation to the Championship

Rafa Benitez may be the best manager Newcastle United have had since Sir Bobby Robson, and now the club should be doing everything in their power to keep him.

Negotiations with the boss are ongoing, but it should be owner Mike Ashley conducting them – not rediculoued and mistrusted managing director Lee Charnley.

By and large Charnley is the one who has earned a lot of the wrath coming from the Toon Army, and if he cannot seal with deal with Benitez his stock will fall even more.
