Sack the board! Newcastle fans react to relegation to the Championship

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has now overseen two relegations at the Tyneside club, and it’s fair to say the buck stops with him now.

A series of inept appointments, from Steve McClaren to Lee Charnley, have slowly sunk the team down into the ground – and now they are tanking into the Championship.

Many Toon fans honestly feel things will never get better while Ashley remains at the helm at St.James’ Park – and the evidence doesn’t tell them any different.
