Sack the board! Newcastle fans react to relegation to the Championship

After beating Everton on Wednesday, Sunderland fans have been lording it over Newcastle United fans for sending their side down.

Despite this, the Magpies shouldn’t be distracted into thinking the Black Cats were the architects of their demise – the real culprits are the hierarchy of the club.

Owner Mike Ashley and managing director Lee Charnley have a lot to do with it: they made the decisions and they should face the anger of the public.
