One of the things that sticks most in the throats of Newcastle United fans is the different direction Danny Simpson and the club have travelled in.

While he is a part of a unified, committed and discipline outfit – the Magpies see to be going in the opposite direction.

Full marks to the player for making the absolute best out of his situation, but you can’t help but feel what might happen if Newcastle can do the same.
