Gregory van der Wiel

Former Ajax defender Gregory van der Wiel could be on the move again as his deal with Paris Saint-Germain runs out.

Should Daryl Janmaat move on in the summer, something that is highly likely, Van der Wiel would be an excellent replacement.

At 28-year-old, he is old enough to have plenty of experience, but young enough to offer a solid four years to his next club.

One stumbling block could be his wages, however, and would Mike Ashley be prepared to bring someone in who won’t have a high sell on fee?
