Phillipe Mexes

At 34-year-old, it would be incredibly surprising if Phillipe Mexes moved to a Premier League side and played regular football.

However, he may be worth a shout at Newcastle United if he can come in and perform a leadership role as a bit-part player.

Mexes is incredibly experienced, and made his first team debut all the way back in 1999. A classy defender on his day, the AC Milan player only has 29 France caps to his name, but played for his nation during Euro 2012.
