Mathieu Flamini

Defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini has played for Arsenal twice and AC Milan, so there is no doubting his pedigree.

He is a hard tackling footballer whose love of the ‘grey area’ between midfield and defence could be put to good use at Newcastle United.

Currently Cheick Tiote does the job, but a man of Flamini’s experience would certainly be useful around the dressing room.
