Football can be a brutal sport, especially when you’re getting abuse from your own fan base – as Georginio Wijnaldum is finding out the hard way.

After his tweet following their 3-0 win over Swansea City, most of the interaction Wijanldum received was negative, and along the lines of this reply.

After such an impressive start to the season, the Dutch international will want to regain that form as quickly as possible.
