For Newcastle United, the fight to survive relegation is now well and truly on. The weekend’s results put the fate of the Geordie national back in their hands.

Manchester City come to Tyneside on Tuesday, and Magpies manager Rafa Benitez will surely make a few changes to the side he puts out.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has to be one of those starters, his performances over the past few games must merit it.
