Relegation from the Premier League to the Championship would probably hand Newcastle United winger Sammy Ameobi an unlikely second chance.

He hasn’t impressed while on loan at Cardiff City this season, starting just eight games and coming off the bench on 24 occasions.

Could he get a second life on Tyneside if they were to go down? Probably.
