Adam Armstrong

Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong is the player who will be forefront of fan’s minds if the club go down.

Would he be able to kick on like Carroll did? With 19 League One goals to his name from a loan spell with Coventry City, the answer is almost certainly yes.

If Armstrong could get games and goals in the Championship, it would be the tiniest sweetner for Toon fans.
