Alex Gilliead

Winger Alex Gilliead wouldn’t have been known by a lot of Newcastle United fans at the start of the season.

However, his time on loan at Carlisle United has changed that – and the England youth international has impressed this campaign.

Four goal from 18 starts isn’t a bad way to make your name during a debut first team season, and he is rated within St. James’ Park – signing a contract extension under former head coach Steve McClaren.
