Seydou Doumbia

Seydou Doumbia arrived from AS Roma with a big reputation, but has spent just 29 minutes on the pitch across three appearances.

With 163 goals in 280 appearances, including 95 in 150 games for CSKA Moscow, it’s clear he knows where the net is – but both Steve McClaren and Rafa Benitez have been reluctant to pick the striker.

There are only eight games left in the campaign, and time is running out for Doumbia to make any impact.
