Romain Amalfitano

Romain Amalfitano was another French player brought in my Graham Carr during his peak Ligue 1 phase.

The midfielder never set the world alight on Tyneside, played five times in the Europa League without doing anything memorable, and left for the French second tier.

All in all a pretty pointless move, this one.
