5: Aleksandar Mitrovic

Serbian international Aleksandar Mitrovic was supposed to be the answer this season.

He came with an excellent reputation and goalscoring record, but ran into trouble early in the season for making a series of rash challenges: he was booked twice and sent off once in his first four games.

However, with six goals this season he has shown flashes of promise – and can still develop into a class act.
