The Telegraph’s Newcastle United writer is Luke Edwards, who has seen the good, the bad and the ugly on Tyneside.

Commenting on the game on Monday night, Edwards said he thought it was a better performance from the Toon side, but that it wouldn’t be enough to keep them in the league.
