Newcastle United fans turned on head coach Steve McClaren as he ran out of ideas during their loss to Bournemouth.

Thanks to an own goal from Steven Taylor, one from Josh King and a final from Charlie Daniels, the Cherries added another nail to McClaren’s coffin.

His position is surely untenable now, and he looks devoid of ideas on how to turn around a sinking ship.

Toon fans were dismayed with his selection of Emmanual Riviere, while Seydou Doumbia did not feature once again.

The defeat leaves them entrenched in the relegation zone, with 10 games left to pick up enough points to reach safety.
