Claudio Cacapa

Claudio Cacapa was supposed to be the answer to Newcastle United’s problems at the back.

Indeed he had a positive, if hesitant, start to life at St. James’ Park – but after being named man of the match against Fulham he hardly played again.

Cacapa made just 25 Premier League appearances across two seasons with 20 starts, and only played eight minutes between November 2008 and the end of the 2009 season.
