Ronny Johnsen had a fairly successful Premier League career before it started to go downhill, first with Aston Villa and then Newcastle United.

After signing for Manchester United in 1996, the defender played 99 times before leaving for Villa.

It was after his spell with the Midlands side that the Magpies took the chance. He played three times before being released.
