Georginio Wijnaldum
Georginio Wijnaldum would be an interesting choice as captain. Although he captained PSV Eindhoven to the Dutch title last season, he hasn’t seemed like a natural leader.
Newcastle United seem to be really lacking a John Terry type figure in the dressing room, but Wijnaldum may be one to take over the armband in the future.
At only 25-year-old, he has plenty of room to develop his leadership skills.
