Lee Clark

Midfielder Lee Clark came through the Newcastle United academy and made 195 appearances for the side, scoring 23 goals.

After a move to Sunderland failed because Clark was spotted wearing a t-shirt calling Black Cats’ fans ‘sad mackam bastards’ he was dropped from the team and sold to Fulham.

After playing 149 times for the London club, Newcastle re-signed their academy graduate.
