Newcastle United have arrived in Spain for their training camp during their 18 day break from fixtures.

The Magpies have several issues to sort out during their five days in Spain, and will take on Norwegian side Lillestrom to put what they learn into practise.

Head coach Steve McClaren will be without the services of key strikers Papiss Cisse and Aleksandar Mitrovic – although he will hoping Seydou Doumbia proves his fitness during the trip.

McClaren will be particularly concerned about the lack of goals, although the quality of defending was abysmal against Chelsea.

Overall, their mental approach to matches needs an overhaul – with the lack of leadership in the squad a major concern.
