Carl Cort

Carl Cort is another bright youngster signed by Sir Bobby Robson during his time at Newcastle United.

After scoring 16 times in 73 appearances for Wimbledon, Robson splashed out £7m and signed him to a five-year deal in 2000. After scoring on his home debut, Cort struggled with injury and problems and only played 22 times for the Magpies.

Since moving on from Tyneside, Cort has featured for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City, Marbella, Norwich City, Brentford and Tempa Bay Rowdies.
