Scoring against your old side is always sweet, and Jonjo Shelvey fired this goal home for Swansea City against Liverpool.

The former Charlton Athletic youngster showed impressive composure and used two mistakes to his advantage: the first, an air kick, he used to go around his man and from the second, a shot straight at the goalkeeper, he calmly collected the rebound and didn’t waste it a second time.

His finish showed the dribbling ability, composure and cool head Shelvey possesses. If he used those in tandom more regularly, the midfielder could become a quality player.
