Rob Elliot

Rob Elliot has been an unexpected success since Tim Krul suffered a season-ending injury.

The former Charlton Athletic stopper has put in a series of fine performances since stepping up, but he could do nothing up the loss to Watford.

Speaking after the game, he said: “Gutted we went out so early. Creating lots of chances just need to start taking them. Great travelling support. Hope all got home safe.”
