Mathieu Debuchy

Replacing Danny Simpson was never going to be the trickiest of challenges, but Mathieu Debuchy accomplished it easily.

After signing from Lille following an excellent Euro 2012, Debuchy excellent down the right for Newcastle United. Despite a rash of red cards for poorly timed tackles, the Frenchman became a fan favorite – but was sold to Arsenal at the start of the 2014 campaign.
