After Karl Darlow was signed in the summer it seemed only a matter of time before the big goalkeeper was moved on. However, he has grabbed his chance with the first team with both hands and could not be considered a serious challenger to Tim Krul’s position.

It’s been an impressive renaissance by the player who nobody thought would play this well when Krul was ruled out for the rest of the season with injury.
